Bayou City Play is a group of playworkers, artists, educators, and therapists who advocate for child-directed play opportunities in the Houston-metro area.
Programs
BCP provides temporary 'playgrounds' made from found scrap materials, where children are invited to explore and play freely.
We accompany these set ups with trainings and ongoing support for staff or volunteers.

We are a passionate group of child advocates from many disciplines, but united in our hope that children gain more time, space and safety to play.
Our team is trained in playwork, a professional approach developed on UK adventure playgrounds, but practiced far and wide.
